If English is not your first language and you struggle to communicate with our staff we can offer you the services of the Language Line, which will put you in contact with an interpretor via the phone. Just make our receptionists aware of your requirement when you make your appointment.
We are unable to allow family members to act as interpretors during clinical appointments. This is for the protection of the patient and clinician.
We can also offer support for deaf and mute patients. Appointments for deaf and mute patients can be arranged via a special text service. For more information, please email the surgery. British Sign Language (BSL) practitioners can be booked for appointments for deaf and mute patients.
